Maryland Irish Festival
Join us all weekend as we celebrate our Irish culture with great music, food, beer, and do some early Christmas shopping with our fantastic vendors! We have many Cultural and Historical displays and performances, the well attended “Speaker Series”, and a large dedicated kids play area with bouncy castles, activities, and games.
The modest admission fee to the festival goes to support the many charitable causes of our own Maryland Irish community, whose members volunteer their time every year to put on this great event. It’s a family affair, so come out, have fun and be part of this great charitable endeavor.
Arlington National Cemetery Trip
Removal of Wreaths
Irish Charities of Maryland thanks all who ventured out on such an icy, treacherous morning to lay the wreathes at Arlington National Cemetery. It was a truly fulfilling day to see the cemetery covered with the greenery of the wreaths, and we couldn’t have achieved our goal without you. Thank you!
We will be removing the wreathes on Saturday, January 28, 2017. We will need volunteers to assist with the removal. Irish Charities will again sponsor buses to Arlington National Cemetery to assist with the removal of the wreathes on Saturday, January 28th. Busses will leave from the Timonium Park and Ride at 6:15 AM and pick up those volunteers on the west side of town at the I-70 Park and Ride . Coffee, Hot Chocolate, and donuts will be supplied!
